  • I am located in San Francisco, CA, but see clients virtually throughout all of California.

  • No. At this time, my practice is 100% remote.

  • I like to start out with weekly sessions as we get to know each other. Initially, I'll be asking a lot of questions as we begin to identify both  short term and long term goals.

Therapy with me is chatty and dynamic. I promise I won't just stare at you blankly. (Do therapists still do that?).

Therapy works when there is strong rapport and I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship in helping people to experience healing.

So yes, I will at times share my genuine responses and clinical observations, but mostly it's you doing the work, and I'll make sure of that.

  • Depending on our chosen course of treatment, we will revisit the weekly cadence and decide if you're ready to drop down to  biweekly or even monthly sessions.

My goal is to not have you be in therapy forever. I want  you to learn skills that will guide you in life and allow you to live with resilience and independence.

  • Nope. I try not to give advice. Therapy is most powerful when people learn to make and be responsible for their own choices.

It can be frustrating to not hear a simple answer to your problem, but that's just not how growth happens. You have to be able to wrestle with some of your own demons and come out with insight on the other side.

I will be there through that journey with you and help guide you, but I won't tell you how to live your life.

  • As of 2025, 50 minute individual sessions are $220.

I accept credit cards and HSA/FSA.

I do not accept insurance, but I provide monthly superbills for reimbursement from your insurance company.

At this time, I do not offer a sliding scale.

  • Here’s the deal with those apps:

Most are largely unregulated, meaning we don’t exactly know where your sensitive personal data is ending up.

Did you know that in 2023, the US Federal Trade Commission gave one very well known mental health app company a 7.8 million dollar fine after finding that it had deceived consumers and shared sensitive data with third parties for advertising purposes?

We’re finding that these privacy violations are becoming more and more common. Creepy! And not to mention totally unethical and antithetical to the role of therapy in your life, which is safety and confidentiality. That’s how you build trust with your provider (me) and make change in your life.

I’m a human. I don’t work for a company that pays influencers on Instagram to convince you that you need therapy.

Making change in your life happens when you connect with another human being; not an app, a robot, the internet, or a multi billion dollar tech company that has hopped on the self-care wagon.

  • First, schedule a free consultation with me.

We’ll chat briefly on the phone so I can ask you a few questions about yourself and what you’re looking for.

If we feel it’s a good fit, we'll put you on the calendar and I’ll send you some simple paperwork to fill out, along with a zoom link for your first session.
