About camilla busnovetsky, lmft
Are you ready to live your life with purpose?
I’m a San Francisco based therapist who specializes in
The Second Generation Immigrant Experience
Codependency
New Parenthood
Women in Mid-Life
please Hear me when I say:
You are the expert in your life, you just don’t know it yet.
You remember a time when
anxiety, intrusive thoughts,
and low self-esteem weren’t the “norm”…
but those days feel like a distant memory.
Don’t you wish you had the tools to change that?
You’ve come to the right place.
I’m Camilla, and I help adults of all genders and 2nd generation immigrants just like you: ones that have it within them to find purpose and experience joy but just need the support to get there.
I help my clients find self confidence and peace by equipping them with the tools they need to set healthy boundaries and prioritize self care.
Many of today’s solutions for anxiety and depression are plastered all over social media, leading so many to feel worthless because they haven’t figured it all out by watching a Gen-Z’er on tik-tok do a dance about ADHD.
I know that your circumstances are unique, so your work with me will NOT be like talking to a chatbot. When you meet with me, you'll notice that I'm interested in the whole you. We will talk about the past, present and future.
I’ll help you find the way.
Therapy with me is…
-
First, we’ll identify environmental stressors and significant events in your history that may be causing ypu pain.
Then, we’ll start to build your toolbox of coping skills and set both short term and long term goals.
Through our work together, you’ll feel more resilient, and more capable of handling whatever life throws your way.
You’ll also gain insight into your current behaviors and identify what it is you want to change, and what you want to keep.
-
My training in Codependency and Life Transitions means I have the expertise you deserve when finding your unique path to fulfillment.
I have over 15 years of experience in this field,
but at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a new parent, a child of immigrants, a woman in mid life, or stuck in a toxic relationship struggling with setting boundaries, prioritizing self-care, and finding meaning in your life, right?
-
I get it because I’ve been there.
As a child of Soviet Jewish immigrants from Ukraine, I’ve experienced the unique feeling of bridging 2 cultures.
I’ve been that new mom struggling to accept my new identity.
And here I am now, approaching midlife and learning alongside you how to embrace the unknown of the future.
I know that when you’re exhausted and overwhelmed and stuck in the same pattern, you might just want to give up.
So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
-
I am dedicated to helping people live their fullest, most actualized lives.
